John Wright Wednesday Session returns to the Boathouse!

After two weeks away due to the repair work, the John Wright Wednesday Session returns to the Boathouse from tomorrow (29th April), so our Social and Dance nights will again feature their live music!

I think everything should be pretty much back to normal now at the Boathouse - at least for the moment!

Dining Club Sat 2 May

Dining Club, Sat 2 May: We're planning to go to the Pipasha Restaurant (Indian and Bangladeshi) on Newmarket Road for this month's dining club. Please let us know if you'd like to come so that we can book a table!

Live music again at the Tally Ho, Trumpington this week

As last week the John Wright live music 'Wednesday Session' which  is usually the setting for our Wednesday Social and Dance nights at the Boathouse is moving to the Tally Ho in Trumpington this week.  They say it should be back at the Boathouse next week.  Some of the regular Diamonds girls will be following John Wright to the Tally Ho, so if you plan to join tomorrow's Social and Dance night you may wish to head to the Tally Ho too, or at least check with us if any Diamonds are likely to be at the Boathouse before turning up there!  The Meet, Chat and Discuss meeting on Thursday will be at the Boathouse as usual.

Latest from the Boathouse facebook page (as of last week) is that their garden was open again and they expected the kitchen to be re-open by last weekend.  I wasn't there at the weekend so unable to confirm...

Meeting to discuss our involvement in the Pink Festival

A planning meeting has been proposed for Thur 14th May to discuss our involvement in the Pink Festival.  More details will be posted here when available!

For live music this week and next head to the Tally Ho, Trumpington

Repair work affecting the Boathouse

The car park, kitchen and garden at our main venue the Boathouse are currently closed while repair work is carried out on the adjacent Tivoli following last month's fire. The pub is still open for drinks, and regular Diamonds meetings continue there as normal! The Wednesday live music sessions are also affected, so the Wednesday Social and Dance Nights may be a bit quieter for a couple of weeks and you may wish to check that others are going before turning up. The Thursday Meet, Chat and Discuss meetings should be largely unaffected.

Dining Club, Sat 11th April, Osteria Waggon and Horses, Milton

A reminder that this month's Dining Club is a week later than normal due to Easter - so is NEXT Saturday (11th April) and not tomorrow!  This month we'll be having another go at getting in to the Milton Italian (Osteria Waggon and Horses) - please let us know if you would like to come!
